$150 Last-minute Registration (October 15 - 19, if spaces are available) The number of spaces available are dependent upon fire code regulations for the three studios (of different sizes) that we are renting, and we may not exceed those limits.
About the Workshop:
No parent observers.
Three student levels, for those working well in Grades 1 through Major Syllabus
Schedule: 9:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Drop off at round-about entry is available, with students met by volunteer staff.
(If you prefer to park first, please see Directions page to avoid confusion regarding where to enter.)
Two 1-1/2 hour long classes in the morning; Lunch 12:15-1:00; Two 1-1/2 hour long classes in the afternoon.
Detailed full schedule will be provided on site.
Lunch: Registrants bring own lunch and drink.
Required dancewear: Simple leotard (no criss-cross backs); ballet tights (convertible tights are recommended for possible contemporary dance work); ballet slippers (also pointe shoes for upper level students already working on pointe). Hair in impeccable, tidy ballet style (such as a bun), off the neck and face (no ponytails). If desired and if you already own them, bring jazz shoes and/or character skirts and shoes for possible use. No legwarmers, no shorts, no skirts, etc.
Parents of Student Registrants: Before proceeding to registration links at bottom, PLEASE
- Remember that you are registering your child, not yourself! On the line asking simply for "Name" -- enter your child's name!
- Check with your child's teacher regarding correct class level first. Levels this time are slightly different from recent conferences, due to space limitations. Later adjustments may not be possible.
- Know the first and last name (and correct spelling) of your child's ballet teacher. Thank you!
- Again, remember that you are registering your child, not yourself. In order for your child's name to appear on his/her name badge at the conference, the name you type in the "Name" field MUST be your child's name, NOT yours! Thank you.
